Calcium hardness is the measurement of dissolved calcium in the water. For swimming pools, calcium hardness should be maintained at a minimum of 200 mg/l (ppm). Low levels can harm the pool and its equipment. Test the calcium hardness level of the pool water and if it is below 200 mg/l (ppm) use All Swim Pak 3 to increase the level.

Application Instructions

  1. Pre-dissolve the product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons (10lts) of clean cold water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved.  Carefully add the resulting solution to the pool whilst the pump(s) are turned "on", preferably near to the water inlets to aid distribution.
  2. The total amount of Calcium Hardness Raiser required can be calculated using the dosing table below. This total should be split into 3 doses with a minimum of 6 - 8 hours left between each subsequent dose.
Water volumes Dose Rates
Litres Gallons To increase calcium hardness by 10mg/l(ppm) To increase calcium hardness by 25mg/l(ppm)
