Baquacil Check Algicide is a chlorine free system, it is copper free and helps prevent or treat algae.

This algicide is for use with 11.5% strength Baquacil Shock ONLY.

Start Up

DO NOT MIX WITH ANY OTHER PRODUCT. DO NOT DILUTE BEFORE USE.

  1. Measure the pH value, which should be between 7.2 - 7.6. Maintain the alkalinity between 80 mg/l - 140 mg/l. Adjust as necessary.
  2. Add 2 litres of Baquacil Shock per 10mof pool water.
  3. Add 100 ml of Baquacil Check per 10m3 of water directly into the pool in front of the inlets with the filtration system running, in the absence of bathers.
  4. After 24 hours, add Baquacil PHMB in accordance with the instructions on the pack label. To ensure adequate mixing allow the pool to be filtered for one turnover period before bathing commences.

Regular Treatment

  1. Measure the pH value, which should be between 7.2 - 7.6. Adjust as necessary.
  2. Add Baquacil Shock in accordance with the instructions on the pack.
  3. Test for Baquacil PHMB and add as required in accordance with the instructions on the product pack.
  4. Add 100ml of Baquacil Check per 10mof water directly into the pool in front of the inlets with the filtration system running. Allow 30 minutes for product to be dispersed prior to bathing.

Caution:

  • Never pour the product on the surface of the water in the presence of bathers.
