What is it?

Lo-Chlor Multi Stain Remover is the ultimate stain remover for all of your problem stains.  Specifically designed to remove stains such as iron, copper, manganese, tannin and cobalt (black staining on fibreglass pools) and will also remove rust from the floor and walls of most pools.

Who needs it?

  • Any pool owner who has staining in their pool.

What does it do?

  • Multi Stain Remover may be used to remove iron, copper and manganese stains from all pool surfaces.
  • Multi Stain Remover can also eliminate most scale deposits.

What advantages does it have over other similar products?

  • Very easy and economical to use.
  • It may be used in all types of pool finishes.
  • An excellent general purpose stain treatment.

Professional tips:

  • Prior to use ensure that the chlorine level is at 0 p.p.m.
  • Adjust pH to between 7.2 and 7.6
  • For best results add the product as close as possible to the stained area.
  • Do not allow contact with coloured marble pool finishes. In this situation, place the product in a sock or stocking attached to the end of a pool brush and hold very close to the effected area without actually touching it.
  • The above method is also very good to use if there is just a spot, rather than widespread staining in the pool. In many instances you will be able to remove the stain(s) by solely adopting this procedure.
  • Widespread staining is best treated by distributing the product over the pool surface.  Never add via the skimmer basket or filter.
  • Lo-Chlor No More Metal must then be added immediately to prevent re-staining.  The product should then be added again at regular intervals.
  • Both pH and Total Alkalinity may be reduced by using Multi Stain Remover.
  • When re-balancing the pool water add alkalinity increaser (sodium bicarbonate) very slowly over a period of 2 to 3  days.  Sudden addition of adjusting chemicals may result in re-staining the pool.
  • Occasionally, stain removal may cause water to cloud.
  • If cloudiness persists, use either Lo-Chlor miraclear Liquid Pool Clarifier or a Miraclear Cube and regular filtration.
  • It is recommended that users wear elbow length gloves (or a long sleeved shirt).
  • Also wear safety glasses and avoid inhaling powder.
