The blanket converts the sun's light into heat to provide free heating of the pool. Cuts water evaporation by up to 95%, as most heat loss is through evaporation, fuel bills can be cut. It has a black underside that inhibits the light getting through to the water that in turn inhibits algae growth in both indoor and outdoor pools.

An EnergyGuard cover is an innovative swimming pool cover, it has a dark blue top surface and black underside. An EnergyGuard cover will inhabit the light from entering the water and therefore it inhabits algae growth in indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
The EnergyGuard cover has a 5 year Pro-rata warranty.
