Blue Horizons Slatted Coverkleen 5 Litres. This is a strong, safe and convenient solution designed for removing grease, dirt, oils and various other marks and stains from all types of slatted covers.

Slatted CoverKleen is a specially formulated blend for cleaning and removing calcium scale and staining from slatted pool covers.

Application Instructions

IMPORTANT - HANDLE THIS PRODUCT WITH EXTREME CARE (Wear protective clothing including goggles, gloves and a respatory Mask)

  1. 'Patch Test' the product on a small area of the cover or area to be treated first to ensure compatibility. Avoid using this product on acid sensitive surfaces like enamel, chrome and stainless steel.
  2. Pre-dilute this product in a clean plastic container as per the dosing instructions below.
  3. Carefully apply the required solution to the cover/surround using a brush.
  4. Leave the product on the treated surface for 5 - 10 minutes after application for maximum effectiveness, and if necessary gently brush to assist the cleaning process.
  5. Rinse the treated surface with plenty of water.
  6. Re-adjust the pool water balance when and if CoverKleen seeps back into the pool water.
  7. Repeat applications may be required in case of exceptional scale build up.
  8. In hard water areas where scale soon builds up consider a regular cleaning regime with CoverKleen.

 

Dosing Rates
Cover/Surround Condition Dilution/Mix Rate
Heavy Scale/Staining 1 part solution to 3 parts water
Light or Modest Scale/Staining 1 part solution to 10 parts water

 

General Precautions

  • Wear eye and face protection and ensure solutions are not splashed into your face.
  • Never mix with any other chemical including other cleaning or chlorine products as a dangerous reaction may occur.
  • When pre-dissolving product always add to water not vice versa.

Handling/Storage

  • Handle products in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors.
  • Wash hands after use.
