Blue Horizons small chlorine tablets are designed for use with floating dispensers or tablet feeders - a perfect, fuss-free way to sanitise swimming pool or hot tub water.  Once placed in the tablet feeder, these small tablets will slowly erode over a period of 3-5 days, depending on the selected water-flow rate the dispenser allows.  Stabilised chlorine tablets are a slow-release chlorine, therefore it may be necessary to shock dose or oxidise prior to their use, to first establish chlorine levels more rapidly.  Ideal chlorine levels are between 1-3 mg/l (ppm) as tested by a test kit.

Tablet size is approximately 1.25"/30mm diameter.

Tablet weight = 20g.

Ideal for hot tubs and spas, the 2.5kg pack contains 125 tablets.

Application Instructions

IMPORTANT: DO NOT ADD DIRECTLY TO A POOL OR SPA, ALWAYS USE A CLEAN APPLICATOR WITH NO OTHER PRODUCTS PRESENT.

Floating Dispenser

Fill the floating dispenser with tablets and adjust the aperture mechanism at the bottom of the dispenser to obtain the 1-3 mg/l (ppm) desired free chlorine range.  Alternatively, keep the dispenser aperture constant and vary the quantity of tablets inside to achieve 1-3 mg/l (ppm).  The dispenser should be removed from the water when bathers are using the pool or spa.

Chlorine Feeders

Fill the dispenser and follow the feeder manual instructions on flow regulation to maintain 1-3 mg/l (ppm) for free chlorine levels.

General Precautions

  • Never mix with other chemicals including household cleaners as a dangerous reaction may occur.  Read and follow all instructions carefully, dose rates are given as a guide to most effective use.
  • Always handle products in a well ventilated area - preferably outdoors.
  • Wash hands after use.
  • Ensure chemicals do not become damp in storage - store in a cool dry place.
  • Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing.
