Freshwater Salt

Freshwater Salt is a specialised granular salt product designed specifically for use with Caldera & Hotspring Spa models equipped with the Freshwater salt or ACE system. Adding spa salt according to directions enables the sanitising system to automatically generate chlorine to sanitise your spa water.

Application Instructions

1. Balance the spa water according to the guidelines in your salt system owner's manual.
2. Whilst the circulation system and jets are running, slowly add the desired amount of salt into the filter compartment, one scoop (approx 75g) at a time, until the correct amount has been added.
3. Allow the jets to run for an additional 5 minutes , to ensure the salt is fully dissolved.
4. Turn off the jets and use a Freshwater Salt Test Strip to verify that the salt level is in the OK range.

Note: Water temperature must be above 35⁰C (95⁰F) and jets must be in the "off" position for the Freshwater Salt System to accurately test the salt level.

General Precautions

• If contact is made with eyes or skin, rinse with running water for a few minutes.
• If more than half a teaspoon is digested, drink large amounts of water or milk.
• For any emergencies please call your local poison control

Handling/Storage

• Seal bag completely.
• Ensure chemicals do not become damp in storage - store in a cool dry place.
