AquaSPArkle PhosAway is a powerful phosphate remover and water clarifier designed for hot tubs and spas. Phosphates are one of the main causes of cloudy water, algae growth and poor sanitiser efficiency in hot tubs. By reducing phosphate levels, PhosAway helps your chlorine or bromine work more effectively, resulting in clearer, healthier water.

What Are Phosphates in Hot Tubs?

Phosphates are nutrients that commonly enter hot tub water through everyday use and environmental factors. They can come from sources such as body lotions, cosmetics, detergents, leaves, dust, rainwater and even your regular tap water. While phosphates themselves are not harmful to bathers, they create an ideal food source for algae and bacteria.

General Instructions

1. Maintain pH levels within the ideal range 7.2 - 7.6 and if not in this range adjust.
2. Use a reliable phosphate test kit to establish your phosphate levels or bring a sample in for us to test for you.
3. Shake the bottle well before use.
4. Add PhosAway directly to the hot tub water with the pump(s) running to ensure even distribution.
5. Leave the filtration system running for at least four hours after application.
6. Clean or rinse the hot tub cartridge filter(s) 24 hours after treatment.
7. Re-test phosphate levels and apply a smaller additional dose if required.

NOTE: The hot tub water may become temporarily cloudy after product application.

General Precautions

Handling/Storage

• Handle products in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors.
• Wash hands with soap after use.
• Store in a cool dry place out of reach from children.
• Ensure lid is replaced and sealed after use.
• Wash hands after use.
• If in eyes rinse cautiously for several minutes.
• If in contact with skin wash thoroughly with soap.

Remember: NO PHOSPHATES = NO ALGAE!
