Blue Horizons TA Reducer liquid is designed to reduce the Total Alkalinity level in swimming pool or spa water.
The ideal TA range is between 80 - 120mg/l (or ppm) and if it is outside of this range, you'll most likely notice you've been struggling to maintain a stable pH level. By bringing the TA level into the recommended range, you'll be able to stabilise the pH and save time and money on balancing chemicals going forward.
Application Instructions:
1. Ensure you have adequate Personal Protective Equipment prior to handling this chemical: Goggles, Gloves and a Mask Respirator are recommended.
2. The liquid product should be carefully 'slug' dosed in the deep end of the pool with the pump running.
3. If a large amount of the product is necessary, the application should be carried out over the course of a number of days - testing the TA level between applications.
4. Once the treatment is complete, test and if necessary adjust the pH level.
