Freshwater Salt is a specialised granular salt product designed specifically for use with Caldera & Hotspring Spa models equipped with the Freshwater salt or ACE system. Adding spa salt according to directions enables the sanitizing system to automatically generate chlorine to sanitize your spa water.

Application Instructions

  1. Balance the spa water according to the guidelines in your salt owner's manual.
  2. Determine the correct water capacity of your spa using the chart in your spa Owner’s Manual.
  3. Ensure that the spa jets are turned on before adding salt.
  4. To prevent over-salting, initially add half of the recommended amount indicated on the chart, using the provided scoop from your kit.
  5. Add the salt into the filter compartment, pouring one cup at a time.
  6. Always run the jets while adding salt and allow five minutes for complete dissolution.
  7. Use FreshWater Salt Test Strips to confirm the salt level is approximately 1,750 ppm.
  8. Add salt gradually, one cup at a time, until reaching the target level. Exercise caution not to exceed the recommended target of 1,750 ppm.
