Unlike a traditional sauna, infrared technology warms the body directly using radiant heat rather than heating the air first. The Hekla infrared range operates at around 45-60°C, creating a gentler and more breathable environment that is well suited to longer, relaxed sessions. The saunas are also designed to heat up quickly, making it easier to enjoy a sauna as part of your everyday routine.

The Hekla Infrared range is available in three sizes, from the compact one-person Infrared 100 to the spacious two-person Infrared 160. All three models feature full-spectrum infrared heating, chromotherapy LED lighting and Bluetooth sound with a contemporary black exterior and Thermo Aspen interior.

Full-Spectrum Infrared Heat

Hekla's full-spectrum infrared system combines radiant infrared heat with strategically positioned heaters around the sauna cabin. Rather than relying on hot air to create the sauna environment, the infrared panels warm your body directly.

The result is a different type of sauna experience, with a lower ambient temperature of approximately 45-60°C. The Hekla infrared saunas are ready in minutes and use a standard 13 amp supply, with no stones, water or steam required.

Designed for Everyday Home Use

The Hekla Infrared range has been designed with practicality as well as comfort in mind. Quick-build construction makes assembly straightforward, while the plug-and-play electrical connection means each sauna can run from a standard 13 amp supply.

Inside, Thermo Aspen wood provides a durable, moisture-resistant and smooth surface, while the black veneer exterior gives the cabins a contemporary appearance. Each model also features 8mm grey glass, chromotherapy LED lighting and a Bluetooth sound system.

Hekla Infrared 100 Sauna

The Hekla Infrared 100 is the most compact model in the collection and is designed for one person. Measuring 100 cm wide, it provides a dedicated personal sauna space while taking up less room than the larger two-person models.

With 1.5 kW of full-spectrum infrared heating, a single sauna bench and a 13 amp plug-and-play connection, the Infrared 100 is designed to make home infrared sauna use simple and accessible.

Hekla Infrared 130 Sauna

The Hekla Infrared 130 provides a little more space while retaining a compact footprint, with room for two people. At 130 cm wide and 115 cm deep, it offers a comfortable two-person sauna environment without requiring the footprint of the larger Infrared 160.

The 2.4 kW heating system combines full-spectrum and carbon heaters, while chromotherapy lighting and Bluetooth sound come as standard. Like the other Hekla infrared models, the Infrared 130 is designed for quick-build installation and operates from a standard 13 amp connection.

Hekla Infrared 160 Sauna

The Hekla Infrared 160 is the largest model in the Hekla infrared collection and provides a more spacious two-person sauna environment. At 160 cm wide, it offers additional interior space while maintaining the same 200 cm height and 115 cm depth as the Infrared 130.

Its 2.4 kW heating system uses full-spectrum infrared and carbon heaters positioned throughout the cabin, including the front, back, bench and sides. Chromotherapy LED lighting and Bluetooth sound are included, alongside Thermo Aspen interior timber and an 8mm grey glass front.

The three Hekla models share the same core infrared technology and key features, with the main difference being their size and capacity.

The Infrared 100 is a one-person sauna measuring 100 cm wide, making it the most compact option. The Infrared 130 increases the width to 130 cm and accommodates two people, while the Infrared 160 provides the largest interior of the three at 160 cm wide for those looking for more space within a two-person sauna. All three models are 200 cm high and 115 cm deep, except the Infrared 100, which is 125 cm deep.
