Hekla Outdoor Cabin Saunas

Contemporary Outdoor Saunas Designed For The Garden

Create a dedicated sauna space in your garden with the Hekla Outdoor Cabin collection. Combining a modern architectural design with practical outdoor construction, these glass-fronted garden saunas provide a stylish way to enjoy traditional sauna bathing at home.

The collection comprises two sizes: the Hekla Mini Cabin, which accommodates 2 people, and the larger Hekla Cabin, designed for 4 people. Both models feature a weatherproof black WPC exterior, Thermo-Aspen interior benches and lining, a full-height glass front and integrated lighting and sound.

The Hekla Mini Cabin is supplied with the 6kW Harvia The Wall sauna heater complete with digital controls, whilst the larger cabin using the 9 kW version.

Designed For Outdoor Use

The black WPC exterior is a wood-plastic composite designed to be weatherproof and low-maintenance, making it well suited to year-round garden use. Inside, Thermo-Aspen is used for the lining and benches, providing a smooth, durable and moisture-resistant sauna interior.

The full-height, double-glazed 8mm grey tempered glass front and door provide a contemporary appearance while helping retain heat within the sauna and keeping the weather outside.

Thermo-Aspen Interior

Both Hekla Outdoor Cabin models feature Thermo-Aspen interior lining and benches. The timber is thermally modified to improve stability and moisture resistance, with a smooth, resin-free surface designed to be comfortable against the skin.

Lighting and Bluetooth Sound

The cabins are designed to be more than just a functional sauna. LED light strips are positioned around the backrest and beneath the benches, with remote control, while an integrated Bluetooth music system with built-in speakers allows you to add your own music to your sauna session.

Hekla Mini Cabin Sauna

The Hekla Mini Cabin is the more compact of the two outdoor cabin models and is designed for 2 people. Measuring 162 × 198 × 234 cm, it provides a generous sauna environment while taking up less garden space than the larger cabin.

Its black WPC exterior, full glass front and Thermo-Aspen interior give it a clean, contemporary appearance, while the integrated LED lighting and Bluetooth sound system add to the experience.

Choose the right Hekla Outdoor Cabin

The two models share the same core construction and features, with the main difference being their size and capacity.

The Mini Cabin seats 2 people and measures 162 cm wide, making it the more compact choice for smaller gardens. The Cabin increases the width to 182 cm and accommodates 4 people, providing more room for family and friends. Both models are 198 cm deep and 234 cm high.

Both models are finished in Nero, with their black WPC exterior, Thermo-Aspen interior and extensive glass frontage giving them a distinctive contemporary appearance.

Harvia Electric Heating

Hekla supplies the Outdoor Cabin saunas without a heater, allowing the heating system to be specified according to the cabin size.

The recommended heater is Harvia The Wall, a slim wall-mounted electric sauna heater designed to preserve valuable bench space. It has a substantial stone capacity for creating steam when water is added to the stones, with the 6 kW digital-control version recommended for the Mini Cabin and the 9 kW digital-control version for the Cabin.

The Harvia heater can reach full bathing temperature in approximately 30-45 minutes, according to Hekla.

Built For The Garden

The combination of weather-resistant WPC construction, Thermo-Aspen interiors and double-glazed glass makes the Hekla Outdoor Cabin range particularly suited to creating a dedicated sauna area outside.

Both models are independently tested and carry ETL and CE certification, with testing carried out by an accredited independent laboratory.
