    What Is It?

    Lo-Chlor Starver is a unique, patented, liquid phosphate remover.

    Who Needs It?

    A pool owner who has an above than satisfactory level of phosphate in their pool.

    What Does It Do?

    • Removes phosphate, the main food for algae, from the water.
    • Allows other chemicals to work far more effectively.

    Dose Rate

    Initial Dose : For a phosphate reading up to 1ppm add Starver at a rate of 500ml per 50,000 Litres of water every 2-3 days. For a reading greater than 1ppm but below 2ppm add 1 Litre of Starver per 50,000 Litres of water every 2-3 days

     

    Maintenance Dose : For a phosphate reading between 0-0.2ppm a regular maintenance dose of 500ml per 50,000 Litres of water and is required every 2 weeks.

    General Instructions

    CAUTION: If algae is present this must be treated with a Lo-Chlor algaecide prior to starting the application of Starver

    1. Backwash the filter, check filter pressure and adjust pH to 7.2 - 7.4
    2. Use a reliable phosphate test kit to establish the phosphate levels in your pool water.
    3. Shake the container for a minimum of 30 seconds and add the required dose (Listed Above) slowly into the skimmer with the pump and filter running.
    4. Check filter Pressure after 48 - 72 hours. Backwash the filter and add a maintenance dose.
