PTFE Tape

PTFE Tape (aka plumber's tape) is a special tape used for securely sealing threaded plumbing joints to prevent them from over tightening and seizing.

PTFE tape (short for Polytetrafluoroethylene) is also commonly known as plumber's or teflon and is used to seal pipe threads. PTFE tape lubricates which provides a deeper thread seal and helping to prevent the seal seizing up when unscrewing.
