Gold Horizons Spa Quick Chlorine Reducer Liquid

Gold Horizons Spa Quick Chlorine Reducer Liquid is specially formulated to quickly reduce chlorine levels after application of a high chlorine commissioning dose in hot tubs, thus allowing bathing to commence swiftly.

Application Instructions 

1. The recommended chlorine commissioning dose for brand new spas or spas that have been left for a period of time is 50mg/l (ppm) of free chlorine circulated for a minimum of 1 hour.

2. After chlorine shock dose application, leave the pump running and after 15 minutes ensure air control valves and water diverter valves are open to ensure the treated water flows through all the hot tub pipework and jets.

3. After an hour of running, apply the full bottle of Quick Chlorine Reducer Liquid directly into the spa with the pump(s) running to speedily lower chlorine levels and keep circulating for an hour prior to re-testing.

4. Recommence bathing when chlorine levels are below 10mg/l (ppm) and then maintain chlorine/bromine levels in the desired range of 3 – 5mg/l (ppm).

Handling/Storage

• Handle products in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors.
• Never mix with any other chemicals including cleaning products and chlorine products, as a dangerous reaction may occur.
• Wash hands after use.
• Store in a cool and dry place.
