Blue Horizons Ultimate Algicide Concentrate

Blue Horizons Ultimate Algicide Concentrate is a fast acting algaecide that is part of the BOAST system. When used regularly Blue Horizons Ultimate Algicide Concentrate will prevent and control algae growth in your swimming pool.

For the best results follow the BOAST System: Balancers, Oxidisers, Algaecides, Sanitisers and Testing. 

Application Instructions

1. Maintain pH level within the ideal range of 7.2 - 7.6. If not in this range adjust. 
2. If algae is visible, brush thoroughly with a pool brush.
3. Check the free chlorine level and ensure it is established within the ideal range of 1-3 mg/ lppm. If algae destruction dose is required, first shock dose the pool to a minimum free chlorine level of 5 mg/lppm.
4. Gradually pour the algicide solution into the pool, whilst the pump(s) are turned 'on' preferably near the water inlets to aid distribution.
5. After the initial dose, this product should be applied once a week to prevent algae formation.

Caution: Blue Horizons Ultimate Algicide Concentrate contains Copper Sulphate Pentahydrate & Potassium Hydroxide.

General Precautions

Dosing

• Wear protective clothing, gloves, eye/facial protection while handling.
• Never mix with any other chemicals including cleaning products and chlorine products, as a dangerous reaction may occur.

Handling/Storage

• Handle products in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors.
• Wash hands with soap after use.
• Store in a cool dry place out of reach from children.
• Ensure lid is replaced and sealed after use.
• If in eyes rinse cautiously for several minutes.
• If in contact with skin wash thoroughly with soap.
